Liberty

This video is great because it sums up where I'm from. The mayor is actually someone who mentored me through my middle school years through a reading program I participated in. I love where I'm from and I want my site to really show who I am as an artist. I recently wrote a song titled, "Liberty". The lyrics are below and I hope to post a video of this song soon.

That old white vinyl it still stands on Caney Fork

Even though my family don't own it anymore

I still feel the breeze under those old shade trees

My Papaw wore a uniform over in that war

He thought he knew all that he was fighting for

'Til he saw the green eyes of that little girl

The start of the family that was his whole world

He fought for freedom, pride, and liberty

Even though he's gone it's where he'll always be
